Commissioner Robert S. Womack is a longtime community advocate, public servant, and leader dedicated to advancing economic opportunity, civil rights, and social justice. During his service as a Kent County Commissioner, Womack worked to connect the community with county grants, resources, and business opportunities while advocating for fairness and inclusion.

Womack’s platform focuses on Affordable Housing as well as raising Michigan’s minimum wage to a true living wage. Womack supports Project Green and desires zero emissions by 2035.  Womack will continue former State Rep. David LaGrand's valiant fight for Social Justice Reform.  Womack supports equal rights for minorities, women and the LGBTQ community. He is also committed to universal healthcare.
